Casa Ulivo is spread across 180SQM on two floors, this home perfectly blends rustic charm with modern comforts, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for up to 6 guests.
Ground Floor:
Unwind in the cozy living room, which features a double sofa bed (140x200cm), comfortable armchairs, a 43" smart TV and direct access to the garden. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen includes a dining table and everything you need to cook.

Upper Floor:
An internal staircase leads to the upper floor, where you will find two bedrooms. The first offers a double bed, a desk, drawers and access to a private balcony. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and a wardrobe. The home has one full bathroom with two sink, toilet, bidet and a bathtub and a second bathroom with a toilet and sink.
Outdoor Space:
Step outside to enjoy the large garden. A portion is reserved exclusively for you, with a dining area and deckchairs. Cool off in the shared swimming pool (8x4m, 1.5m deep), open from May to end of September.

Guests will have private access to the entire apartment. The swimming pool and some parts of the garden are shared with guests from another apartment of the property. Your host will greet you in person for a warm welcome and check-in.
Other notes:
• Please note that the apartment is situated on two floors and is not equipped with an elevator.
• Before your arrival, the home is professionally cleaned. We provide fresh bed linens, bath towels, and pool towels for your stay.
• You will find a small welcome kit with soap, shampoo, and shower gel.
• According to regional law, the heating can be turned on from 15 October to 15 April and cannot exceed 21 degrees Celsius.
• 7 days before your arrival we will send you the online check-in form where you can enter your ID or passport. This is a mandatory by low to host guest in Italy.

Where do you even begin when trying to describe a place that has been woven into the fabric of your life for over fifteen years? La Macciaschina — is not just a holiday rental to us. It is, quite simply, our second home. We first came here in 2010, almost by chance, and we have returned every single summer since other than during the COVID years. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. In a world full of options, we keep coming back — not out of habit, but out of genuine love for this magical place and the extraordinary people who make it what it is. Francesca and Gregorio are, without question, the heart and soul of La Macciaschina. From the very first year, they welcomed us not as guests, but as friends. Over the years, that friendship has deepened into something far more meaningful. We consider them our extended family now — and we mean that in the truest sense. They remember the small details, ask after our loved ones, and greet us each summer as though no time has passed at all. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine care for every guest is rare and remarkable. You feel it the moment you arrive. La Macciaschina. itself is simply beautiful. It is the kind of place that immediately puts you at ease — thoughtfully designed, immaculately kept, and surrounded by nature that calms the soul. Waking up here, with the sounds of the Como countryside drifting through the window, feels like a privilege every single time. The swimming pool is a dream on hot summer days, and the grounds are lush, peaceful, and perfect for simply doing nothing at all. The location is ideal — peaceful enough to truly unwind, yet close enough to Como and the surrounding towns to explore whenever the mood strikes. After so many years, we have come to know and love the entire area, and La Macciaschina has always been our perfect base. We have celebrated birthdays here, marked anniversaries here, and created countless memories here that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Each year, as summer approaches, the excitement builds — not just for the holiday, but for the reunion with Francesca and Gregorio and their lovely family. Top place, reccommended
We had a wonderful time in this truly exceptional and beautiful accommodation. The apartment is very spacious, and the kitchen has absolutely everything you could need. The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped (and will soon have a pool!). Our son was able to run around freely and had a great time with the provided play equipment. The hosts were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We felt completely at home. The location is also fantastic for exploring the surrounding attractions. The only thing we slightly missed was having a charming Italian village within walking distance. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this accommodation!
Relaxing holiday
Giacomo and his family is kind, warm, and responsive to our needs throughout our stay. The property is beautiful and relaxing for slow mornings. There are good restaurants and groceries stores nearby. Lake Como is easy to reach, 20 to 30 minutes by car for even more restaurant options. We will be back. Highly recommend.
Great stay!
Everything went as it should. Despite little difficulties to find the place, we really enjoyed our stay. Giacomo and his parents was really great and did everything they could to make our stay (10 nights) worth every penny. Especially the sightseeing in the chapel with the historic story with the family’s story was interesting. The place itself was very quiet and nice. We would like to come back! The best reason: I asked my son, 21, if he wanted to return and he immediately answered: Yes! 👍😁

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The garden is a true oasis of calm and nature. The swimming pool is a real bonus, and not just for children. The upkeep of the garden and pool is simply impeccable! The house is spacious, well-equipped, and full of charm. It's an older building with its minor flaws (noisy plumbing, for example), but nothing too bothersome. Francesca and her husband are pleasant and well-organized, and they gave us a very warm welcome. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely return.

The most beautiful people as hosts and the warmest welcome possible is what I got with the booking of this accomodation! Spacious house with zero dirty spots, a big bathtub and a very nice style. We enjoyed our stay here very much and will definitely be back soon.

Beautiful spacious villa on the edge of the woods
Spacious and beautiful villa. "Apartment" is underselling it a lot. The house is quiet and secluded within nature. It is well supplied and comfortable and, in spite of definitely being an old building, it is really well maintained and tastefully decorated. We didn't need it, but it looks like the place would be ideal for families with young children. The kitchen is also ridiculously well equipped.
