Casa Ortensia is a renovated 2-floor retreat in a historic Lombard farmhouse for up to 4 guests. Enjoy a large garden, shared pool and modern comforts. Perfectly located just 2 mins from the A9 motorway for easy trips to Como and its Lake, Milan and Switzerland. Within a 1h drive you can also reach Lake Maggiore, Bergamo and Pavia. This 90 SQM home blends rustic charm with modern amenities, offering a unique and comfortable stay.
Casa Ortensia is spread across 90 square meters over two floors. This home perfectly blends rustic charm with modern comforts, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for up to four guests.
Ground floor:
The two bedrooms are located on this floor. The first one features a double bed, a wardrobe and direct access to the garden. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and shelves. On the same floor, near the two bedrooms, is the full bathroom with sink, toilet, bidet and bathtub.
Upper floor:
An internal staircase leads to the upper floor, where you can relax in the living area with direct access to the upper garden. The living area features a sofa, armchair, TV, dining table and a well-equipped kitchen for cooking.

Outdoor Spaces:
Step outside to enjoy the large garden. A private section is provided, complete with a dining table and chairs. Access to the shared swimming pool (8x4 m, 1.5 m deep), open from May to the end of September.

Guests will have private access to the entire apartment. The swimming pool and some parts of the garden are shared with guests from another apartment of the property. Your host will greet you in person for a warm welcome and check-in.
Other notes:
• Please note that the apartment is situated on two floors and is not equipped with an elevator.
• Before your arrival, the home is professionally cleaned. We provide fresh bed linens, bath towels, and pool towels for your stay.
• You will find a small welcome kit with soap, shampoo, and shower gel.
• According to regional law, the heating can be turned on from 15 October to 15 April and cannot exceed 21 degrees Celsius.
• 7 days before your arrival we will send you the online check-in form where you can enter your ID or passport. This is a mandatory by low to host guest in Italy.

The accommodation was spacious and had a beautiful garden with a pool. Check-in was easy, and the hostess was very friendly and welcoming. The amenities mentioned were available. There's also plenty of outdoor seating for comfortable dining.
Beautiful place!
The location is 15 minutes from Como, with a nearby supermarket. The character of the house, its history, and its beautiful garden are just some of the many things we've come across. The owner, Francesca, and her husband, Gregorio, were extremely kind; they handed us the keys upon our arrival. They're very friendly, helpful, and speak French (not fluently, but easily understood). The rooms at the Jas are cool in the summer, a benefit of the older buildings. The pool is fantastic, cleaned daily by the owners, with large pool towels. A barbecue is available upon request. For those who only use a microwave, please note that there aren't any (we know this, and that didn't stop us from cooking). Go with your eyes closed for the beauty of the place, the tranquility, and the kindness of the owners. Francesca, Gregorio, thank you so much.

Many thanks to Francesca for her hospitality. The accommodation has an old-world charm, is quiet, and independent. Access to the pool is unrestricted. Excellent accommodation for four people. We recommend it.

Just 10-15 minutes from Como, the apartment is located on a beautiful property with a lovely shared pool open until 8:00 PM. Despite its quick access to the road to Como, the property is quiet. There's a dedicated outdoor space, which we unfortunately couldn't enjoy due to the weather. Please note that to access the garden, you must pass through the bedrooms located below the living room/kitchen and then climb a few steps. The welcome was very friendly, with interesting explanations about the history of the chapel. Francesca was very responsive. We recommend this accommodation.
Fantastic
We had a wonderful stay in this accommodation. The location is perfect for visiting Como, Varese, and Milan, but we also enjoyed staying at home in the beautiful garden with pool. Plus, the downstairs bedrooms are nice and cool on hot days.

We had a pleasant two-night stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated and even has several private outdoor seating areas. It was very clean and conveniently located, very close to a large supermarket. Francesca, the owner, was available to give us restaurant recommendations and offered to use a barbecue when we asked. The pool was fantastic and very clean. The outdoor space is even more beautiful than the pictures! There's no air conditioning, but the downstairs bedrooms are cool and there's a large portable fan. An overall wonderful stay! We'd recommend it to others!
